Studio Manager

STRONG Pilates SATX is seeking a highly motivated, community-focused Studio Manager to drive our team, deliver world-class classes, and help grow our supportive fitness community.

In this role, you’ll lead by example on the mic and off — teaching high-energy classes, mentoring and onboarding instructors, overseeing scheduling and front-of-house operations, and ensuring our members have an exceptional experience every visit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver STRONG’s signature Pilates/Cardio/Strength workouts.

  • Mentor, train, and onboard instructors to uphold our brand standards.

  • Manage class schedules, instructor coverage, and studio operations.

  • Support social media engagement and in-studio community building.

  • Collaborate with ownership on events, new client experience, and membership growth.

  • Enforce policies and procedures, including time-off requests and shift swaps.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years management experience in the fitness industry is preferred 

  • 1+ year of group fitness teaching experience

  • High school diploma or GED required; a degree in a related field is preferred.

  • Proficiency in studio management software, such as Mindbody or similar platforms, is preferred

  • Strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for health and fitness

  • STRONG Academy certification

Required Certifications:

  • Certified Personal Trainer, group fitness, or pilates certification from a recognized organization

  • CPR and AED certification obtained through in-person training is required

Physical Requirements & Work Conditions

  • Frequent physical activities, including sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, twisting, pushing, pulling, and reaching.

  • Repetitive movements and moderate noise exposure.

  • Frequent standing and walking on hard surfaces.

  • Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds.

  • Possible exposure to dust, chemicals, and cleaning solutions

Compensation: $50,000/year - $60,000/year + bonus opportunities
